Aron Berket

Aron is an experienced transactional and regulatory lawyer, focusing on the funds and asset management sector.

He is an expert in providing strategic, transactional and regulatory advice to alternative investment managers, sponsors, (global) asset managers and institutional investors, assisting them with structuring their public and private investments (including private credit, private equity and real assets), as well as strategic, compliance and governance matters.

He has a broad range of experience that includes advising on fund structuring, fund investments/participations, carry/co-investment structures, SMAs, IMAs, fiduciary management and custody. In addition, he frequently advises on financial regulatory matters, dealings with regulators, asset management M&A, spin-outs and fund financings.

Aron’s experience extends to having advised some of the largest buy-side firms on the contractual and regulatory aspects of trading, collateralising and clearing all asset classes of derivatives (e.g. rates, (deal contingent) FX, emission allowances and digital assets), repos/securities lending and other financial instruments.
