Ariel Garfio is a partner of Von Wobeser y Sierra. He has more than fifteen years of experience and is part of the Environmental, Energy & Natural Resources areas of practice. He also an expert on project development.

Ariel has advised domestic and international companies in a wide range of legal matters related to the development, construction, operation and maintenance of thermal and renewable energy, oil, gas, mining, water and infrastructure projects and real estate in general. This includes the negotiation of a wide variety of contracts and guidance in project financing. He also advises clients who participate in auctions and bidding processes before the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), the National Hydrocarbons Commission, the National Energy Control Center and the Ministry of Communications and Transportation, and other federal and local authorities. Ariel has extensive experience in contractual, environmental, regulatory, social impact, rights of way, and agrarian matters related to infrastructure and real estate projects, including electricity, oil and gas. His professional experience in projects of this kind extends to financing, corporate law, strategic alliances and joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He has been recognized by The Legal 500 and Latin Lawyer 250.
