Career

Anne MacGregor is a Partner at Gecić Law with over three decades of experience. She began her career in Brussels and has since built expertise across competition/antitrust, trade, and regulatory matters. Anne is recognized for her strategic insight into EU institutions and legislative processes, offering clients holistic solutions that blend law, policy, and communications.

Her practice spans EU and UK competition law, merger control, state aid, antitrust, FDI, trade, energy, enlargement, and compliance frameworks. She has represented corporations, NGOs, and governments before the European Commission, EU courts, and national regulators. Anne has worked at top international law firms in Brussels and Washington, led MLex’s merger control reporting team, and opened the Brussels bureau of The Capitol Forum. She later advanced strategic communications at FTI Consulting.

Originally from Australia, Anne is admitted to practice in multiple jurisdictions, including England & Wales, New York, and Ireland. She holds degrees from the Australian National University and the University of Hamburg, and speaks English, German, French, and Dutch.
