Career

Miloš Petaković is Counsel at Gecić Law in Belgrade, where he leads the Real Estate practice. He is recognized as a leading expert in handling complex, high-value transactions, including commercial leases, acquisitions, contractor agreements, and development projects. Known for his strategic and meticulous approach, Miloš advises clients on some of the region’s most challenging real estate matters.

In addition, Miloš is a senior member of the firm’s Banking & Finance team, contributing to high-profile cross-border financing and capital markets transactions. His broad expertise also spans corporate and commercial law, dispute resolution, and intellectual property, enabling him to provide comprehensive solutions across diverse legal areas.

Before joining Gecić Law, Miloš gained significant regional experience managing bank-secured portfolios and advising banks and investors on transactions and workouts.

He has been recognized internationally, receiving the 2025 Lexology Client Choice Award and being ranked as a Global Elite Thought Leader in Real Estate by Lexology Index.

Miloš holds a law degree from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law, and is a member of the Belgrade Bar Association. He is fluent in English and Serbian (Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin).
