Career
Vuk Leković is an Attorney at Law based in Belgrade and the founder of Leković Legal. His professional practice focuses primarily on Competition Law, with additional experience in Public Procurement, Insurance Law, and Sports Law. Vuk advises clients on complex regulatory, transactional, and enforcement matters, drawing on a strong background in both public regulatory bodies and private practice.
Before founding Leković Legal, Vuk was a member of the leading law firm in Serbia where he represented clients in investigations before competition authorities and state aid control bodies. In addition, he has regularly advised clients on regulatory matters relating to competition law and state aid control, as well as on the European Union trade law.
Additionally, Vuk worked at the Serbian Competition Authority where he served as an independent advisor on investigations of competition infringements. During this period, he completed a specialist training programme at the Japan Fair Trade Commission, enhancing his understanding of international competition enforcement. He also spent four years at the National Bank of Serbia, where he worked in the Insurance Supervision Department focusing on regulatory improvement and in the Legal Affairs/Procurement department. While at the National Bank, he was a member of the working groups that drafted the Compulsory Traffic Insurance Act and the Voluntary Pension Funds and Pension Schemes Act.
Vuk holds an LL.M. in Business Law (2016) and an LL.B. (2014), both from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law. He is also a licensed Public Procurement Officer and a licensed Bankruptcy Trustee. Vuk is a member of the Belgrade Bar Association and is fluent in English and Serbian.
