Annabel Barrons

Annabel offers specialist advice in financial remedy proceedings and private children’s law. She takes a particular interest in complex matrimonial finance work, as well as those cases which will benefit from a cohesive strategy across both financial remedy and Children Act proceedings. She undertakes work at all court levels and is often instructed on behalf of high-net-worth individuals and in cases with an international element.

Annabel combines a forensic, tactical approach to her cases with confident advocacy and clear advice. She welcomes instructions for representation, advisory work and drafting as required.

Annabel has a busy Financial Remedy Practice and accepts instructions for work under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973, Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 and under TOLATA 1996, at all stages of proceedings. She has a particular interest in cases that concern third party ownership of property, allegations of non-disclosure and those which have an international dimension.

Annabel also regularly acts for clients across the range of Private Children Law. She is experienced in representing clients in matters that concern serious allegations of abuse between parents, issues of parental alienation and intractable contact as well applications for relocation both internationally and within this jurisdiction.
