Andrea Mandell

Andi Mandell has been at the forefront of tax developments in the structured finance and securitization markets for more than 30 years. She brings extensive experience advising on the tax-related aspects of complex structured finance and securitizations across a broad spectrum of asset classes.

Andi focuses her practice on providing tax advice to the securitization industry. Her tax expertise spans traditional securitizable assets, such as RMBS, MSRs, CMBS, student loans, credit cards, and SFRs to a wide range of esoteric asset classes such as litigation finance, life settlement, structured settlements, MSOs and timeshare loans. Andi also advises tax-exempt entities, REITs, hedge funds, and private equity firms on complex tax matters related to finance and investment platforms.

For more than a decade, Andi has served as lead pro bono counsel to The Gary Sinise Foundation, where she serves on the board of directors.
