Career
Amir Bocayuva is a partner in BMA's corporate and M&A practice area. Amir has accumulated vast experience in M&A, joint ventures and other business associations, structuring foreign investments in Brazil, contract negotiations, and corporate disputes. His clients include entrepreneurs, mid-size companies, private equity funds and listed companies active in various sectors of the economy, such as financial services, consumer goods, education, infrastructure, shopping malls, sports, and entertainment.
In April 2016 he became the firm's managing partner, inaugurating BMA's new management model, in which the managing partner performs his management role in conjunction with the practice of law. From 2001 to 2002, he served as the Legal Vice-President of the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, one of Brazil's most famous football clubs.
