Career
Name Partner and founder of López-Ibor Abogados. Before creating the firm, and for ten years, he was the Managing Partner of the Madrid office of Allen & Overy and for 18 years the Madrid office of Ventura Garces & López-Ibor Abogados, a firm founded by himself together with the late Ventura Garces, a leading commercial lawyer in Barcelona.
His practice has covered virtually all aspects of corporate law, finance and banking, aviation law, litigation and arbitration, and mediation. Therefore, through his career he has been involved in a very wide range of subjects.
Alfonso holds a Degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid; London School of Economics and Political Sciences; Hague Academy of International Law; Certificate of Mediator (ISDE-CIMA).
