Alex specialises in non-contentious construction and engineering contract advice, working predominantly for developers, employers, funders and contractors across a range of development projects.

Alex specialises in projects in the Real Estate and Infrastructure sector with particular experience of residential and large mixed use regeneration schemes. Alex advises clients across the full range of residential development sub-sectors including build to sell, build to rent, later living developments and affordable housing. Recent experience also includes commercial development projects, projects in the life sciences and telecoms sectors and energy projects.

Alex advises on the full range of construction and engineering contracts, including industry standard forms (such as JCT, FIDIC, NEC and IChemE), bespoke project and infrastructure agreements, consultancy frameworks and appointments and associated documents such as direct agreements, collateral warranties, bonds and guarantees as well as the construction elements of development agreements, development funding agreements and facility agreements.

As the Training Principal for Osborne Clarke Alex helps shape our training programme and in doing so work closely with HR and People Development teams to ensure Osborne Clarke offers a first class training experience for trainees and ensuring they are fully supported during their training contract.
