Dr Ahmed Abdelgawad is a Co-Founder of ADSERO - Ragy Soliman & Partners and is Co-Heading the Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets practice area. In addition, Ahmed is simultaneously teaching at the Criminal Law Department at the Faculty of Law, Cairo University.
Ahmed has over 17 years of experience in the legal field, during which he focuses mainly on M&A and Capital Markets. In addition, Ahmed participated in several arbitrations and litigations in Egypt and represented his clients in numerous project finances and syndications.
Ahmed has advised on a significant number of high-value transactions, including acting for leading private equity firms such as Gulf Capital, Chimera Capital, Abraaj, and Euromena. He has also supported national and multinational clients across diverse sectors, including telecommunications, agribusiness, food and beverage, manufacturing, energy, information technology, logistics, e-commerce, steel, chemicals, and healthcare. Notably, Ahmed advised Telecom Egypt S.A.E. on six strategic and commercial agreements with Etisalat Misr, with a total value of over USD 911 million.
