Adil Khawaja SC

Adil Khawaja is a Partner at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews and a leading name in the real estate, environmental and planning industry, and corporate commercial circles. He regularly advises investors who are keen on investing in Africa and globally and foreign companies that conduct business in Kenya and Kenyan corporations that operate business abroad. He is recognised in Kenyan's business circles for his legal expertise and holds board positions in various companies.

Adil advises many investors, including foreign companies, high net worth individuals, and Kenya's state parastatals. His experience includes advising on a multitude of complex commercial and residential land transactions that include: advising Overseas Administration Management in the acquisition of four warehouses in Nairobi's busy Industrial Area; eco-conveyancing for clients in the tourism sector; complicated land control issues, company restructurings and environmental policy issues for the Government of Kenya.

He is an executive member of the Nairobi Arboretum Conservancy Community Forest Association. Adil has also served as a director on the National Environment Council, a Trustee to the Friends of Conservation and Care for Wild Kenya, and the Kenya Wildlife Service.
