Throughout her career Adelina Iftime-Blăgean has handled the full spectrum of labour law projects, often in a transactional and cross-border context. She has a strong track record in restructurings, from collective dismissals and automatic transfers of employees to post-M&A integration, such as unification of policies and alignment of benefits. She also advises on stock option plans, sensitive termination cases of key employees and managers, cross-border retention arrangements (including cross-border work, workcation, EU postings, use of contractors, digital nomads and immigration), bullying, burnout, harassment & discrimination cases, compliance checks, whistleblowing assessments and corporate investigations. Another key area of her expertise are collective negotiations, European Works Council matters and employee involvement in Societas Europaea (SE).
In addition, she has a strong background in M&A, corporate law, capital markets, data protection and tax law. This enables Adelina to completely assess the relevant legal challenges and effectively tackle all angles of employment mandates.
Career
Adelina is Partner at Wolf Theiss and the main contact for the Employment practice in Romania. She has more than 20 years of experience as a business lawyer (out of which 19 years have been at Wolf Theiss). She also practiced as in-house counsel and university assistant, teaching classes in employment law at the Law School of Babes-Bolyai University.
