Adam is a Partner in the Firm’s global restructuring group heading the London based team. He specialises in advising debtors, creditors and other stakeholders in complex restructuring matters. He has been involved in a number of award winning restructurings. Adam was recognised by the Institute for Turnaround as 'Legal Adviser of the Year' in 2008 and in 2013 was named a 'leading restructuring partner' by The Lawyer's Hot 100.
Adam joined Simpson Thacher in 2021. Previously, he was with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, where he became Partner in 2007.
Adam is a qualified U.S. attorney, having been admitted to the New York Bar in 2000 and as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1998. He is a member of the International Insolvency Institute, the Institute for Turnaround, R3 and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Adam contributes to various journals and conferences.
