Overview
Suite 2703 Chambers was founded in 2018 by Edward Tang. He was joined by Alan Lo and Ryan Chan in 2019, Tony Chow in 2023, and Ben Chan and James Chan in 2024. Suite 2703 Chambers is a specialist boutique set with a strong focus on regulatory matters and complex commercial disputes.
Members of Suite 2703 are committed to providing unparalleled expertise and legal services. They recognise the importance of their roles within the justice system of Hong Kong and beyond. They aim to offer practical and innovative legal advice while taking into account the commercial aspects of the issues faced by clients and solicitors. Main Areas of Practice
Members of Suite 2703 are regularly instructed as sole counsel or led junior in complex investigations and proceedings involving alleged market misconduct, and other serious breaches of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571) and the Listing Rules. They are experienced in representing directors and officers of listed companies and other market players in proceedings and investigations brought by regulators, including petitions under sections 213 and 214 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance by the Securities and Futures Commission, as well as investigations and enforcement proceedings conducted by the Securities and Futures Commission, the Independent Commission Against Corruption, Competition Commission, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and Company Registry.
In parallel with its strong presence in the financial regulatory and securities sector, members of Suite 2703 are often instructed to handle complex commercial disputes and arbitrations, often with cross-border elements. Members have also been instructed to give expert evidence on Hong Kong law in foreign court and arbitration proceedings.
Members also contribute to legal scholarship by authoring and editing publications on arbitration, civil procedure, and reciprocal enforcement of judgments.

Prior to joining Suite 2703, Tony sat as a deputy magistrate in the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Court.
Members have also served on the Hong Kong Bar Association’s Bar Council, the Hong Kong Bar Association’s Special Practice Committee on Discipline, as well as various Practice Area Committees such as Financial & Securities Law, Arbitration, and Sports Law.
