Members prosecute and defend, in equal measure, all aspects of serious crime across the country, including murder, corporate manslaughter, serious sexual offences, white collar fraud and large scale drug conspiracies. Matters include fatal accidents, corporate manslaughter, trading standards, environmental regulation, VAT and revenue appeals, health and safety, police powers, benefit fraud, licensing and inquests. In addition, several members sit on a variety of disciplinary bodies such as the RFU, ASA, BDO, The Sport Resolutions Disputes Panel, the GMC and the GDC, including one barrister who is an appointed arbitrator for the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
