From the first securitisation in the Greek banking sector, the first Greek synthetic securitisation, the first CMBS transaction, and the first issuance of preferred redeemable shares offered to U.S. retail investors, the Greek financial crisis and the PSI to the first securitisation of commercial nonperforming exposures to the first combined offering IPO of a greek corporate in Greece after more than two decades of standstill, our team has been at the forefront of transactions that have shaped the Greek economy.

- Capital markets: Our Capital Markets practice offers legal services in relation to covered bonds, debt, and equity capital markets. We advise on structuring and executing complex transactions, including IPOs, secondary offerings and private placements, helping clients navigate the regulatory framework and achieve their financing objectives in dynamic market conditions.
- Funds:Our team offers a full range of legal services to both fund managers and institutional investors. We support the establishment, licensing, and passporting of funds and fund managers, and offer expert advice on investment services and fund management.
- M & A:Our M&A practice provides comprehensive legal services for both corporate and financial institutions transactions, offering guidance tailored to the evolving needs of our clients in both stable and distressed market conditions. We assist with structuring and negotiating mergers, acquisitions, recapitalisations, and spin-offs. Our track record spans from pre-crisis Greece to the present, including from the Greek PSI and the recapitalisation of the Greek banks to the spin-off of the real estate and loan management sectors of a Greek systemic bank.
- NPL transactions:Our NPL practice provides a wide range of services, from regulatory advice in relation to the servicers’ legal frameworks to structuring portfolio sales and negotiating bespoke servicing agreements. Our team has been involved in nearly all major NPL transactions in the Greek market, advising clients on both the sell and buy side, with notable achievements including the first HAPS securitisation in the Greek market. In addition to our involvement in the primary transactions, we have a strong presence in the secondary NPL market, acting for all stakeholders.
