We bridge diverse legal systems and cultures with a focus on efficient and effective legal services. We also advise U.S. and European companies engaging in transactions throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Our attorneys provide strategic advice and legal services in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financings and securitization activities, intellectual property, trade and governmental strategies, international dispute resolution, infrastructure and project development and finance, export controls, and business immigration issues. The practice brings together attorneys from our Shanghai, Seoul, Singapore, and Tokyo offices along with numerous multilingual attorneys from across GT’s global organization with experience handling client matters in Asia.

GT Offices in Asia:

Seoul: Attorneys in Greenberg Traurig's Seoul office advise Korean, U.S., and other international clients with respect to both inbound and outbound matters. Our attorneys have decades of experience in areas including intellectual property litigation, commercial litigation, international arbitration, investments, tax, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, antitrust, restructuring and reorganizations, international trade, structured products, and regulatory and commercial law.

Our office serves as a point of access to opportunities in Korea and other parts of Asia, and our Korean-speaking attorneys are acutely familiar with Korea’s business, culture, and legal and regulatory systems. We have strong relationships with established Korean law firms and other professional services firms to support dispute resolution and other commercial matters throughout Korea.

Shanghai: Greenberg Traurig's China team advises U.S. and international clients entering the Chinese market, as well as those with established business interests in the region. We assist in negotiating, structuring, and documenting transactions within and between Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Additionally, we regularly counsel clients on the U.S. legal implications of their overseas activities, and we represent Chinese companies in their transactions and other business dealings in the U.S. and abroad.

Our attorneys have the depth and breadth of experience to provide strategic advice across the full gamut of legal services, including foreign direct investments; mergers and acquisitions; financings and securitization activities; intellectual property; trade and governmental strategies; international dispute resolution; infrastructure and project finance; technology and telecommunications; export controls; and business immigration issues. Our market-leading global real estate practice is also a core component of our China practice. We advise international private equity funds, asset managers, banks, financial institutions, and investors in making cross border equity and debt investments into greater China.

Singapore: Strategically positioned in the heart of Southeast Asia, Singapore serves as a thriving hub for legal services and inbound and outbound investment activities in the Asia-Pacific region.
