Alfred Ng specialises in advising on project development and financing transactions in the power, infrastructure, oil & gas and petrochemicals sectors, including transactions across the energy transition.
He regularly acts for sponsors, lenders (including commercial lenders, export-credit agencies, multilaterals and development finance institutions), funds and governments on such projects, and has developed a reputation for providing practical and commercially-minded advice in order in help clients find solutions to complex issues in challenging jurisdictions.
Alfred also has significant experience in advising on leveraged and acquisition financings, particularly where there is an energy/infrastructure element; upstream reserve-based financings; and various forms of Islamic financing (including on multi-source ECA and DFI financings with an Islamic financing tranche).
Alfred's practice is focussed on Southeast Asia and South Asia, and he has worked extensively in Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Vietnam, Singapore and the Philippines in particular.
