S/Rule 144A, private placements, rights issues, initial public offerings and other stock-related offerings, such as convertible and exchangeable bonds. The team routinely assists in debt and equity investments involving public companies and has a strong record advising on sophisticated Shariah-compliant investments and financing transactions in the capital markets.

Corporate/M&A:
The firm’s corporate, M&A team is consistently and continuously ranked ‘tier 1’ across all international legal publications and guides. The team regularly handles high-profile and high-value corporate transactions for a broad spectrum of clients which include international private equity firms, multinational corporations and state-owned enterprises. The practice has specialist expertise in sectoral industries such as technology media and telecom (TMT), mining and natural resources including the oil and gas sector. In recent years, the team has been involved in various investments in ‘unicorn’ status technology companies. It has recently assisted in the series E funding of Tokopedia (a giant e-commerce player in Indonesia) with a deal value of approximately USD$1 billion.
