Our Polish real estate team specialises in transactions with special focus on advising institutional investors and developers, particularly those operating in the logistics and retail sectors. At the same time, we support clients in the office sector as well as other fields which are rapidly expanding in Poland, such as student housing. Our work includes disposal/acquisition of assets and the creation of joint ventures dedicated to new investments as well as forward-type transactions and advisory within the development stage of projects. As the team draws on diverse background of its members, we cover also leasing, real estate finance, planning & construction, real estate restructuring, and ESG in real estate. Notable recent deals feature the successful acquisition of the distressed Europa Centralna retail centre by Mitiska REIM, the restructuring of Tesco's real estate portfolio, involving the sale of more than 25 shopping centres in Poland to various buyers, numerous logistics transactions including the sale of three A-class logistics and warehouse last-mile buildings located in Poznan and Warsaw by 7R, which has been ranked by some as the CEE Logistics deal of the year. We regularly advise on sale transactions that are part of a European-wide series of deals with a vast scope of assets and cross-border projects involving other specialisations. We are ready to handle any project that requires not only legal expertise but also management skills.
