About

Provided by Irwin Mitchell

We mainly focus on catastrophic injury cases, particularly those involving brain, spine and amputation injuries, and fatalities. We also have one of the largest specialist asbestos disease teams in the country.

Over the last decade we have recovered hundreds of millions of pounds for our clients. But the work we do is not just about achieving compensation; we also ensure our clients receive early access to high quality rehabilitation to achieve the best outcomes.

Our London team offers expertise in all aspects of complex personal injury litigation, providing a breadth and depth of experience that we feel is unrivalled in the market. 5 of our teams, led by Richard Geraghty, focus on UK-based serious injury litigation; 3 teams led by Demetrius Danas deal with international serious injury litigation; and a further team deals with asbestos and occupational disease claims, led by Guy Darlaston.

We continue to be involved in high-profile multi-claimant actions. In recent years this has included acting for victims of the terrorist attacks in Algeria in Tunisia. This last year has been no different, representing claimants in litigation against Boeing following the crash of a Boeing 737 MAX.

We have over 20 APIL accredited personal injury litigators, including 4 APIL fellows, and 10 APIL specialist accreditations in brain or spinal injury. Our team also holds a broad range of linguistic skills, including fluent Spanish, French, Dutch, Greek and Russian speakers.
