We are renowned for handling complex, challenging and high value cases in the fields of brain injury, spinal injury, amputation cases and workplace illnesses. We have recovered over £109,500,000 in damages over the past 12 months. Additionally, our Yorkshire Workplace Illness teams also recovered over £72,012 for hospices in 2022.

We created The Parent Carer Forum by Irwin Mitchell in August 2020 which offers advice and support to over 700 parents, carers and charities on a wide range of legal and practical matters.

  • We are panel solicitors for Day One, a Leeds Teaching Hospital Charity which helps victims of trauma.
  • Our Sheffield team continues to run a dedicated pro-bono legal clinic, at the neuro-critical care unit at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield
