The CMS banking and finance team retains strong market feedback. The group has strong experience of cross-border lending, aided by English law capabilities on the ground in Romania and the international financing expertise of the global CMS network, often bringing together teams from Romania and other CEE states. CMS assists with a broad range of financings, advising lenders and borrowers on project financing in the real estate and energy sectors, as well as film financing, loan refinancing and acquisition financing. It acts on ECM and DCM matters, such as IPOs and bond issuances. It also has experience in regulatory matters and NPL transactions.
