Corporate & M&A:
TGS Baltic’s corporate legal competence is recognised as no. 1 in the Lithuanian market according to top tier law firm research in the Baltics 2017 by TNS Sifo Prospera. In 2016, there were 77 M&A assignments in Lithuania with disclosed value of €217 million, and the market share of the firm’s M&A practice in 2016 was 18% by the number of transactions and 24% by the value of disclosed transactions.

Banking & Finance:
In 2012-17, the firm advised on financing transactions with the total value of €21 billion, including the EIB on the creation of the exemplary model of financing renovation of multi-apartment houses in Europe. An independent market research performed by TNS SIFO Prospera in March 2017 showed that TGS Baltic’s banking and finance legal competence is considered as one of the leading in the market.

Dispute Resolution:
TGS Baltic was recognised as no. 1 law firm in Lithuania for dispute resolution legal competence by client ranking in 2017 in Independent Law Firm Review 2017 conducted by international market research company TNS SIFO Prospera. The firm represents clients in an array of complex commercial disputes and currently handles over 1,000 court and arbitration cases with the value around €2 billion.

The total value of competition matters, where the team provided its legal advice during the last 12 months, exceeds €200 million. During the last few years, the firm has handled more than 35 competition/antitrust cases (merger notifications excluded) before the Competition Council and courts, at least ten of which were cartel cases. There have been only a few cases ever handled in Lithuania in which they did not take part.
