Zubier Yazdani litigates against public bodies in the Administrative Court in Judicial Review claims and damages claims against state abuses. He is presently representing an NGO in the Brook House Inquiry. He is regularly instructed to represent victims of trafficking and modern slavery nationally and internationally. He represented the successful Claimant in a Judicial Review of the DPP: L v DPP  870 (Admin). He represented Anti-Slavery International in the landmark European Court of Human Rights case against Greece: Chowdhury & Others v Greece (Appl No 21884/15) and Statewatch in ShD and others v Greece, Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia (Appl No 14165/16). He is currently instructed in a ground-breaking civil claim against the United Arab Emirates.
