Yvonne Siew is a derivatives and structured finance partner, based in Hong Kong. She is qualified in Hong Kong and England and Wales.  Yvonne has a broad finance and transactional regulatory practice. Yvonne has extensive experience on a wide range of structured finance transactions including repackagings, total return swap structures, structured equity derivatives trades (including margin loans and collar financing), credit-enhanced bond structures and other structured securities for leading investment houses.  She has also advised on a wide range of OTC derivatives matters relating to ISDA and GMRA documentation (including close-out procedures and collateral structured arrangements).  She has advised on OTC derivatives regulatory reform including margin for uncleared swaps as well as mandatory clearing and reporting in Hong Kong and other APAC jurisdictions. 

In addition, Yvonne has advised on the inaugural Panda bond issuances and the HKSAR sukuk issuances.  She also has experience in advising in relation to complaints of mis-selling regarding derivatives products and other derivatives disputes.   On the regulatory front, Yvonne’s experience includes advising on disclosure of interests and market misconduct in Hong Kong.

She regularly presents at and participates in industry conferences and other events, including ISDA.
