Based in Paris, his work often has a geographical focus on northern Africa and the francophone region. He is often instructed by an enviable list of international clients including multinational corporations and financial institutions.

Yves Baratte of Simmons & Simmons LLP handles a variety of work from his Paris office, with a strong focus on projects. He co-heads the firm's Africa initiative and has recently been engaged on several transactions and projects arising under OHADA rules in the DRC, Cameroon, Chad and Gabon.
