Colin is a qualified solicitor and a member of the Paris Bar. He first joined Simmons & Simmons Paris office in 1992, becoming a partner in 1995. For the next nine years Colin headed up the banking and finance practice in the Paris office before joining another international law firm specialising in private equity. Colin subsequently re-joined Simmons & Simmons Paris office as a partner in 2011. Colin is a dual qualified banking and finance lawyer based in Paris, who has extensive experience in transactional banking with a particular focus on corporate lending and LBO transactions. Over the last twenty years, Colin has acted for the senior, mezzanine and unitranche debt providers as well as, in certain instances, the private equity funds, on a significant number of the LBO transactions in the French mid cap market.
