Yorke specialises in dealing with complex trust issues and advising trustees on their duties and liabilities. Yorke specialises in providing capital tax planning advice to high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and business owners regularly advising on succession planning, family governance protocols, complex will drafting, powers of attorney and on trust formation and restructuring. In particular Yorke often acts on behalf of trusts where the only or main asset consists of shareholdings in private family companies. Yorke also acts as an executor for clients dealing with all aspects of estate administration, and as a trustee of several trusts and charities. In addition, he also advises institutional clients in respect of trust and estate administration, the practicalities of dealing with commercial trusts and the creation and use of trusts in commercial and corporate transactions and consumer protection trusts.
Yorke joined Addleshaw Goddard in March 2003 and, having trained with the firm, was promoted to the role of Managing Associate in 2009, to the role of Legal Director in 2013 and Partner in 2014. Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard, Yorke had worked for a multi-national IT company.

A third generation private client lawyer, Yorke is a father of three, a keen musician (runs his own Big Band at private functions), enjoys classic cars and has a penchant for vintage tractors, shooting, and also spends his spare time engaged in his family's forestry business.
