Yasser is the Executive Partner and Head of Corporate and Commercial in our Abu Dhabi office. Over the years, Yasser has acquired an in depth knowledge of UAE law and has extensive experience advising clients on a wide spectrum of fields of the corporate and commercial laws including, distribution and agency agreements, supply contracts, manufacturing and licensing, joint ventures, media buying, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.

Yasser is very well known and respected in the UAE as a leading figure in Capital Markets work and is referred to, and sought out by many advisors as a go-to professional in this practice area.

Yasser has led the Hadef Capital Markets team in the IPO of six companies in the 15 months alongside the listing of several companies on the ADX Growth Market. This is in addition to acting as lead counsel on the first ever merger in the UAE insurance sector, advising National Takaful Co (Watania) PJSC on its merger with Dar Al Takaful PJSC.

Yasser Omar is a well-known and front of mind name to the key regulators in the UAE such as the Central Bank of the UAE, Securities and Commodities Authority and the ADX.
