Wim Vermeulen is a lawyer at the Brussels Bar. Wim holds a Masters in Commercial Engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven and the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He is also a Master of Laws (KU Leuven).
Wim has authored several books, publishes in tax journals and newspapers, and is a much sought-after guest speaker on real estate taxation and inheritance planning for real estate. He lectures on 'Real estate taxation' at the Antwerp Management School and 'Aspects of international real estate taxation' at the Brussels Tax College.
Wim is a long standing member of AIJA and IBA.
Wim is one of the editors of the trimesterial publication of "Nieuwsbrief Registratierechten".
He also publishes a biennial booklet "Buitenlandse vakantiewoningen en Fiscus", in Dutch and French.
Finally he regularly publishes in field specific literature, such as "VERWERVING VAN FRANS VASTGOED MIDDELS EEN VENNOOTSCHAP", TEP 2019, nr. 2, 208-217.
