With the aim of achieving sustainable asset structuring for family entrepreneurs, Rosanne, as a tax lawyer, focuses on advising on the (re)structuring of their activities and their investments—both business and personal—with a view to a tax-efficient exit from their company (group) and to their successors.
In doing so, she focuses on:
- a multidisciplinary approach;
- not only the optimal holding structure of the family group in terms of income tax, but also on, among other things, gift and inheritance tax, real estate taxation, the proper functioning and rationalization of the group structure;
- practical solutions, in consultation with the entrepreneur, while closely monitoring evolving trends in both the client’s specific situation and relevant legislation and case law.
Such analyses are not limited to Belgian territory, nor to entrepreneurs in the strict sense: Rosanne is also happy to assist you with foreign investments, foreign asset structurings, emigration, and the like.
Some of her areas of expertise include:
- real estate transfers from the company to one’s private estate;
- the dismantling of corporate structures;
- the emigration/immigration of the entrepreneur and the structuring of his assets and activities;
- investments in foreign real estate;
- the Belgian cayman tax.
Rosanne regularly attends the editorial meetings of the Registration Rights Newsletter and supervises students in tax law at the University of Antwerp as an observer for subject-specific master's theses. Every year, she gives a guest lecture at AP University College Antwerp in the bachelor's program in Real Estate. She also regularly attends national and international conferences on international taxation. In that regard, it is also noteworthy to point out that she is a member of the Cambridge Forum for International Wealth Advisors (3rd Generation).
She has given numerous seminars on the transfer of real estate to and from companies, management fees, foreign real estate,the tax impact of the new property law, and various other topics related to real estate and corporate taxation.
Rosanne is a cheerful chatter who enjoys playing padel and badminton in her spare time.
