Work Highlights

The law firm I work for, Boss & Young Attorneys-at-Law, specializes in real estate, construction engineering, and bankruptcy liquidation. Our firm has been listed as a Tier 1 Bankruptcy Administrator by the Shanghai High People's Court. Over the years, we have provided legal services to numerous government agencies and well-known real estate enterprises and have been appointed by the courts multiple times as administrators (or liquidation teams) for major bankruptcy cases. Additionally, our firm has received multiple awards from prestigious domestic legal rating agencies in both comprehensive and specialized practice areas.

Our team is dedicated to real estate, construction engineering, and commercial leasing, providing one-stop legal services to our clients. However, due to macroeconomic fluctuations and shifting real estate regulatory policies, the development path for real estate enterprises has not been smooth.The COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated challenges, including delayed project construction and weakened housing sales momentum. Some real estate companies, affected by external factors, have struggled to sustain their operations, making bankruptcy inevitable. Given the broad impact of the real estate sector—which is closely tied to local economic development goals and social stability—real estate bankruptcies have consistently drawn widespread public attention.Beyond our traditional real estate practice, I am leading my team in expanding our expertise in real estate bankruptcy and liquidation. By leveraging our experience in legal advisory and litigation for real estate enterprises—along with our firm's Tier 1 Bankruptcy Administrator qualification—we are actively developing this practice area. Our initiatives include creating product manuals and offering external training programs to strengthen our presence in the real estate bankruptcy sector.In bankruptcy liquidation, I am also integrating emerging software solutions to standardize, streamline, and visualize case workflows. As one of the leaders of our bankruptcy team, I have introduced an online case management system and a creditor claim submission platform, ensuring that bankruptcy proceedings follow a structured and standardized process. Additionally, I have organized and refined commonly used legal document templates, creating universal foundational templates to enhance efficiency and consistency across cases.

We successfully completed several landmark bankruptcy cases in 2024. In 2025, we will continue to handle the bankruptcy and plan to expand into the field of listed company bankruptcy and restructuring. Given the current economic climate, an increasing number of industries and listed companies will face the need for delisting or restructuring.Leveraging our existing expertise, I aim to broaden the boundaries of our legal services, striving not only to deepen our specialization in real estate bankruptcies but also to help more businesses revitalize across various sectors.

Since November 2016, I have been responsible for risk management and regulatory planning at the law firm. Through professionalism and patience, I have successfully resolved conflicts of interest and client complaints. Additionally, by systematically implementing a "repeal, establish, and revise" approach, I have streamlined the firm's internal policies and regulations.This experience has further enhanced my ability to manage lawyers and build effective teams.

In 2017, I led the creation of Falifang, a legal technology project incubated by our law firm, exploring big data and artificial intelligence applications in the legal industry.I personally led my team in the design and development of the "AI Lawyer Finder" mini-program, which was used during the pandemic to arrange free online legal consultations. Additionally, I collaborated with natural language processing experts from the U.S. to develop an AI-powered confidentiality agreement review system and successfully signed a partnership agreement with a Fortune 500 company.Through these initiatives, I have remained at the forefront of integrating technology into legal services.

In 2018, I participated in the third session of the Harvard Law Firm Leadership Program organized by Zhihui, and applied what I learned to the daily management of our law firm.

Since November 2020, I have served as the Disciplinary Committee Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Third Party Branch at the firm, overseeing internal disciplinary work. This has elevated my ability to manage and lead the lawyer team to a higher level.

Currently, I serve as an Equity Partner, Member of the Management Committee, and Disciplinary Committee Member of the Party Committee at Boss & Young Law Offices. My practice focuses on bankruptcy liquidation, compulsory liquidation, bankruptcy restructuring, real estate project development and construction, commercial real estate leasing and sales, construction engineering, real estate project due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment of foreign-invested enterprises. I handle both litigation and non-litigation legal services.I have long served as legal counsel for large state-owned group companies and Fortune 500 multinational corporations,among other well-known enterprises.In recent years, in response to macroeconomic policies and initiatives to improve the business environment, I have leveraged my law firm’s platform and, as a court-appointed administrator, have been actively involved in legal services for the restructuring of real estate enterprises.

From 2004 to 2008, I was seconded by my law firm to Shanghai Kangqiao Peninsula (Group) Co., Ltd., which later went public in Hong Kong and was renamed Sino Grandness Land. During this period, I served as Legal Counsel, overseeing the entire legal process for the group, including land acquisition, design and planning, development and construction, property management, financing, and IPO listing.

This experience gave me in-depth knowledge of the internal operations and development processes of real estate enterprises, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the legal service needs at each stage. Additionally, I built a strong network and valuable resources in the real estate sector.

Since 2015, Bangxinyang Law Firm has been accredited as a Tier 1 Bankruptcy Administrator by the Shanghai High People’s Court. I joined the bankruptcy team and, starting in 2020, leveraged my dual expertise in real estate and bankruptcy to earn the trust of the Shanghai Third Intermediate People's Court.I have since led and overseen major Tier 1 bankruptcy liquidation and restructuring projects, including those of Yiliu Real Estate (Gangtai Group), Sansheng Group, and Tongfu Yijiali.Over the past four years, I have gained recognition in Shanghai’s bankruptcy field and received widespread acclaim from financial institution creditors, employee creditors, small homeowners, and investors.
