Practice Areas

Victoria routinely advises Canadian/foreign banks and insurance companies and other regulated/unregulated financial service providers on a variety of regulatory matters, including bank/insurance regulation, Fintech, compliance, establishment of new financial institutions in Canada, corporate governance, credit cards, payment/settlement systems, compliance and outsourcing arrangements. Victoria also has a robust transactional practice focusing on M&A, restructurings, corporate governance and complex commercial arrangements both within and outside of the financial services sector.

Career

Before joining Osler as an associate in 2000, Victoria summered and articled with Osler. Victoria completed a secondment at the Office of Superintendent of Financial Institutions in 2010.
