Victor Chiew

Victor is a partner based in our Singapore office. Victor has over 13 years of experience as a corporate M&A, investments and transactional lawyer, focusing on private capital and in the technology, media and telecoms sector. He advises on a wide range of corporate transactions, including domestic and international M&A, joint ventures, minority investments and venture-style series fund raisings. Victor has acted for some of the most prominent global and regional names, including Apple, GIC, Goldman Sachs, Sequoia Capital, Grab and SoftBank. Victor is an advisor in venture and growth capital investments, acting for the full spectrum of investors across both private capital and corporate venture. In addition, he also acts for high-potential startups and their founders, rounding out his knowledge in the ecosystem. His practice also includes significant involvement in artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies. Qualified in Singapore as well as in England and Wales, Victor has spent several years practising in London and has extensive experience executing transactions in both developed and developing jurisdictions, across both APAC and EMEA.
