Liza is a partner based in our Sydney office. Liza is a market leading competition law and regulatory partner with extensive experience in merger clearances, access and infrastructure regulation, and ACCC investigations, enforcement and cartels. She was previously the Enforcement Commissioner with the ACCC where she chaired the enforcement committee, was chair and deputy chair of the mergers review committee, deputy chair of the infrastructure committee and a member of the energy and digital platform boards (2022-2025). Liza had a strategic leadership role in the direction of the ACCC enforcement program and the introduction of the new merger control regime, taking effect on 1 July 21025.
