Vanessa Facuse

Vanessa focuses her practice on competition law, economic regulation and digital markets. She advises companies on investigations, sanctioning proceedings, compliance strategies and other matters arising in highly regulated environments.

Her experience includes litigation and proceedings before Chile’s National Economic Prosecutor’s Office, the Competition Tribunal, the Constitutional Court, the Comptroller General’s Office and sector-specific regulatory authorities. She also advises clients on the preventive assessment of risks associated with commercial practices, market structures and innovative business models, including fintech and digital platforms.

Vanessa regularly assists clients with complex matters requiring the coordination of legal, regulatory and business considerations, including the design of strategies to address regulatory risk and support business-critical decisions.

Before entering private practice, Vanessa served as Head of the Litigation Division at Chile’s National Economic Prosecutor’s Office. She also held responsibilities for authorizations and contracting at the Undersecretariat of Telecommunications.

Vanessa has served on corporate boards, councils and specialized committees and regularly participates in professional, technical and academic forums on competition law, economic regulation and complex business disputes.

Vanessa earned her law degree from the University of Chile. She also holds diplomas in Information Technology, Administrative Law and Telecommunications Law from the University of Chile, Economic Sanctions Law from the University of the Andes, and Strategic Litigation from Diego Portales University.
