Tom Knox is a partner in the Corporate practice. Tom serves as chair of the firm's global Technology Corporate practice and as co-chair of the firmwide Technology Industry Group. He advises clients on corporate, M&A, financing, technology transactions and outsourcing matters, serving as a strategic advisor to public, private and emerging companies in the software, technology, life sciences, transportation, manufacturing and government services sectors, and to investors in such companies.

Tom provides advice on a wide range of corporate and securities transactions, including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, venture capital and private equity investments and divestitures, joint ventures and other corporate finance and governance matters.

Mr. Knox is a frequent speaker on corporate, sourcing and technology transaction topics. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University and as a guest lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland, the University of Michigan Law School and Middlebury College. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Middlebury College and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Business Council for International Understanding.
