Terence Cabot brings clients circa 25 years of telecoms sector experience and has led the development of our well-known technology & telecoms practice since its inception. Terence is viewed as one of the leading advisers in the areas of telecoms (optic fibre, mobile and satellite), data centers, smart cities, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), data connection protection and open data in France, with regard to regulation matters and various legal issues at the highest levels, including litigation for high-stakes cases.
Terence advises both public and private clients on public business law, electronic communications law and data law. He also contributes to Villa Numeris, an independent think tank, on the subject of EU-US data transfer rules and best practice, and to a professional association, with regard to open data law, and legal issues relating to IA-ChatGPT practices.
Before joining Latournerie Wolfrom Avocats, Térence worked at Andersen Legal.
