MICHAEL E. (TED) MURPHY counsels companies and trade associations on international trade and customs law. In particular, he advises clients on international trade, trade policy and customs compliance issues. He represents clients in proceedings before the Office of the United States Trade Representative, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Homeland Security Investigations and other U.S. government agencies involved in international trade and customs matters, as well as in judicial proceedings before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He also represents clients in proceedings before international organizations, such as the World Customs Organization. He is a frequent speaker on international trade and customs compliance-related topics at seminars in the United States and abroad.
