Tanisha Tulloch

Tanisha is a partner at Torkin Manes LLP in the Private Client Services and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Groups, practising trusts and estates litigation and commercial litigation.

Her practice includes all aspects of estate, trust, capacity, fiduciary and power of attorney disputes and guardianship issues. Tanisha also advises on, among other things, issues relating to the rights and obligations of estate trustees, estate trustees during litigation, trustees, attorneys for property and care and guardians and the rights and entitlements of beneficiaries, along with issues involving the validity of wills.

Tanisha’s experience includes matters involving estate administration, probate applications, passing of accounts, the appointment or removal of estate trustees, trustees and guardians, undue influence, estate and trust claims, breaches of trust and claims against estates, including dependant support claims and claims on behalf of minors and incapable persons. She acts on behalf of individuals, trust companies, government agencies and other institutions.

Tanisha has also developed an expertise in commercial litigation. Her practice includes matters involving commercial contractual disputes, breach of contract, shareholders’ disputes, commercial collections and commercial fraud. She also represents barristers and solicitors in errors and omissions claims.

Tanisha regularly appears before all levels of Court in Ontario, including the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and Court of Appeal.

Tanisha is Chair of Torkin Manes’ Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
