Tania acts for local and international construction companies as well as companies providing ancillary services to the construction industry. She has represented both domestic and international underwriters in disputes arising in the aviation industry, including accident claims, aviation insurance, liability and product liability. A recent case, which went to the SCA, dealt with the obligations and duties of a flight examiner in relation to the pilot being examined and the vicarious liability of the Minister of Transport for the conduct of the flight examiner appointed to carry out instrument rating renewal tests on behalf of the Department of Transport. Tania also represents international pharmaceutical companies in product liability cases relating to medicines, including anaesthetics, antiretrovirals and other medicines, as well as medical devices.
