Since January 1st, 2024, Marie-Josée Neveu has been the new Chair of the Partnership Board at Fasken. Marie-Josée Neveu specializes in corporate and securities law. Her practice is focused on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing and corporate governance.

Marie-Josée handles friendly and contested transactions of all kinds, including public offerings, private mergers and acquisitions and statutory arrangements. She represents public companies, underwriters and investors in relation to public offerings or private placements.

Marie-Josée has specific expertise in hostile takeovers and represents large corporations in high-profile complex transactions.

She also advises boards of directors, special committees, executives and major shareholders on various transactions and matters involving disclosure, shareholder proposals, proxy contests, corporate governance and other corporate issues in general.
