Tamar Migdal is a partner in the firm’s Planning and Construction Law Group and is one of Israel’s best-known attorneys in this field.

Tamar has extensive experience in representing and advising clients on some of Israel’s largest real estate (residential, commerce, offices and industry), infrastructure and energy projects. Tamar represents her clients in the process of obtaining approvals for a wide variety of master plans, as well as in local licensing procedures, involving all levels of Israeli planning authorities.

Tamar has a great deal of experience in representing her clients in civil litigation before appellate committees and the courts regarding zoning, planning, construction and real estate issues.

Tamar specializes in bringing legal proceedings to challenge betterment and development levies assessed against her clients, and her vast experience has led to significant achievements and considerable savings.

In addition, she is considered one of Israel’s foremost experts in the field of land expropriation law and diminution of value claims.

Tamar is very familiar with the legislative processes pertaining to planning and construction regulation. She plays an active role in deliberations in various Parliamentary committees, and took part in recent discussions on proposed reforms to Israel’s Planning and Construction Law.

Tamar lectures frequently at conferences and continuing education programs organized by the Israel Bar Association and the Real Estate Appraisers Association. She also publishes articles in law journals and financial newspapers.
