Career
Sven Eriksrud has considerable experience consulting for large businesses, including assistance with contract negotiations, contract drafting, and dispute resolution. In addition to ongoing counselling, Sven has had an extensive litigation practice in recent years, litigating some of the largest and most comprehensive cases in Norway.
In addition to a law degree from the University of Oslo, he has a master of Law (LL.M.) from the University of California, Berkeley, specialising in international contract law.
He has also worked for the Norwegian Ministry of Justice's Legislation Department and as a research assistant at the University of Oslo's Department of Private Law. Eriksrud was admitted to the Supreme Court in 1997.
Sven is the author of several articles related to contract law and procedural matters in arbitration.
