Career
Süleyman Sevinç is Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution Department of Erdem & Erdem. For 25 years, he has assisted foreign and domestic clients with their legal disputes, everyday issues, and litigation procedures.
He advises foreign and local clients in national and international arbitration proceedings, recognition and enforcement of foreign awards and judgments. His expertise relates to a wide variety of areas including litigation arising from recourse, transactions regarding the foreign persons’ possession of premises in Turkiye, lien transactions, construction contracts in return for flat and urban renewal projects, contracts, foreign investments as well as mergers and acquisitions, labor law, maritime law, general average, rescue, adjustment and coasting transactions, insurance and reinsurance law, and corporate law. He is also experienced in transportation law, privatization law, law of obligations, private international law, intellectual property law, and international construction law.
In addition, Süleyman Sevinç leads our Gulf Countries desk. He especially represents companies active in the Arab states of the Persian Gulf which are Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their disputes.
