I focus on IP in all aspects: patents, SPCs, trade marks, design and confidential information. I am also Standing Counsel to the Comptroller-General. I have acted in all UK and EU courts and proceedings at the UKIPO and EPO. I successfully represented Eli Lilly in the UKSC (pemetrexed, patents, equivalents) and recently appeared in the UKSC in Sky v. SkyKick (trade marks) and Thaler v. Comptroller (AI), in the latter unled. Other cases include BskyB v. Microsoft (SkyDrive), Resolution v. Lundbeck (citalopram), Comic v. Fox (GLEE), FH Brundle v. Perry (threats), Cadbury v. Sandoz (passing off), IPCom v. Vodafone (telecoms patents), Sandoz & Teva v. BMS (pharmaceuticals, plausibility), GE v. SGRE (turbines, territoriality), Teva v. Bayer (sorafenib), Teva v. Grünenthal (testosterone formulation).
