Steve Koh leads the firm's relationship with Boeing. He graduated from Yale Law School, clerked on the D.C. Circuit and worked at the Justice Department before joining Perkins Coie. Steve has handled dozens of aviation disputes. Examples of successes include: award for Boeing, including fees, in ICC arbitration of Thuraya satellite loss; arbitration award of damages and declaratory relief on warranty claims against supplier that may exceed $75M, dismissal and award of fees in 787 securities litigation; $57M AAA arbitration award for Boeing against supplier; summary judgment on claims of deep vein thrombosis allegedly caused by air travel; and summary judgment in suit alleging fraud in production of government aircraft. He has defended many aviation product liability suits.
