Stephen founded Gibney’s Immigration Practice Group in 1978 and has led the growth of the practice to a staff of over 100 dedicated professionals reaching across the U.S. Internationally recognized as a leader in the field of immigration, Stephen has authored numerous articles on U.S. employment-based immigration, presented continuing education seminars and lectured to professional groups such as Practicing Law Institute, the New York City Bar Association and the American Council of International Personnel on business travel, U.S. nonimmigrant work visas, labor certification, worksite enforcement and compliance. He designs and implements strategic immigration programs for businesses, providing best practices for regulatory compliance and solutions. Stephen works with clients in a broad range of industries including financial, pharmaceutical, technology, media and entertainment. Stephen is a member of the AILA, the New York Bar Association, an Adjunct Professor of Law at Pace University School of Law and Chairman of the British American Chamber of Commerce Foundation Inc. and the Board of Directors of British American Business Inc.
